Value For Life: Woman killed over land dispute

SUKKUR: A woman was killed and her father and uncle were severely injured when armed men attacked the family over a land dispute in Jacobabad. The assailants barged into Warris Buledi’s house located near Garhi Khairo early in the morning and opened fire. Mai Malookan, the wife of Sathi Buledi, was killed on the spot while her father Shahnawaz Buledi and uncle Warris Buledi were injured. The villagers said the attack was the result of a land dispute between two groups of the Buledi tribe. Garhi Khairo police sent the injured and the body to the hospital but no case was registered till the filing of this report.
