UN aid: WFP offers help for affected areas

KARACHI: The United Nations World Food Programme (UN-WFP) consultant, Robert Hooser and Karachi- based in charge, Marrit Fikky exchanged views on relief and rescue operations for the rain-affected areas with the Sindh Chief Secretary, Raja Muhammad Abbas, on Sunday.

The UN-WFP team offered assistance in the irrigational development in the affected areas, along with providing food to the people. Sindh Rehabilitation Secretary Suhail Akbar Shah also attended the meeting.
