Baloch FC record crucial win in football league

KARACHI: Baloch FC registered a much-needed win, beating PMC Athletico 2-1 in their Pakistan Premier Football League (PPFL) clash as they aim to avoid relegation. In other matches, PAF held Afghan FC to a goal-less draw while Pakistan Navy beat Police 2-0 yesterday.

Baloch FC, who climbed two places to be placed on the 13th spot in the 16-team PPFL, now have 25 points while Athletico slid down to the danger zone that will see the bottom two sides being relegated.

After a dull first-half, Naeem scored the opener in the 77th minute before Baloch FC equalised six minutes later. Sherdil Khan then scored another goal for Baloch FC in the 85th minute, as the team eventually held its lead to register the win.

In the other match, Navy’s Jabbar Hussain and Muhammad Rizwan scored a goal apiece as the team downed Police.
