SUKKUR: Unsuccessful raids for Qazi Ghulam Mohammad Bhayo continued on Friday as the police searched for a main suspect in the triple murder of Hindus on Eid. Lakhi Ghulam Shah DSP Zahid Mirani raided Ilyas Bhayo and Hussain Belli villages in the katcha area of Pannu Aqil and torched several houses after they failed to make any arrest. The police did a house-to-house search. DSP Mirani told The Express Tribune that they didn’t torch houses but burned the hideouts used by criminals. He explained it was next to impossible to find the men in the katcha area because of the dense forest stretched right from Sukkur to Kashmore. The victims, including a doctor, were shot in Chak outside Sukkur in what appeared to be revenge for a romance between a Bhayo girl and Hindu boy.
