Cricket: Sialkot, Lahore U-19 teams post wins

Sialkot Region defeated Peshawar Region by three wickets on the 4th day of National Under-19 Women T20 Championship.

LAHORE: Sialkot Region defeated Peshawar Region by three wickets on the 4th day of the National Under-19 Women T20 Championship. Electing to bat first, Peshawar posted 81 for eight. Sialkot’s Saima Maqsood claimed four wickets. In reply, Sialkot reached the target in 18.4 overs. Maqsood was named player of the match. In the second game of the day, Rawalpindi’s decision to bat first against Lahore backfired as they were bundled out for just 30 in 11.1 overs with Namra Imran claiming three wickets. Lahore chased down the target in just five overs and Imran was declared player of the match.
