Life Sentence: Murder accused gets life in prison

Additional Sessions Judge Hajji Ahmad sentenced a man to life in prison for murder on Friday. According to the prosecution, Chak No 213 RB resident Anwar and his two accomplices had killed the brother of a traffic warden Zafarullah in 2003 over an old rivalry. The police registered a case against the accused and submitted the case to the court. The court imposed a life sentence as well as a fine of Rs100,000 as compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased.
