Formula One: Webber tops opening practice

SAO PAULO: Mark Webber topped the times for Red Bull during opening free practice session for tomorrow’s season-ending Brazilian Grand Prix. The Australian is yet to win a race this season after being overshadowed by his teammate and recently crowned double-champion German Sebastian Vettel. Nonetheless, the 35-year-old, who won in Brazil in 2009, clocked a lap of the Interlagos circuit in one minute and 13.811 seconds towards the end of the session, edging out rival Jenson Button of McLaren by 0.014 seconds. Button was followed closely by his McLaren teammate and compatriot Lewis Hamilton followed by Vettel in the second Red Bull.
