A fund raiser for the treatment of Tariq Shah, a legendary film actor, was organised by Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Culture Department at Nishtar Hall Peshawar on Tuesday.
Having produced nearly 26 films and appeared in over 800 Urdu, Pushto and Punjabi films, Shah has been associated with the film industry for the past 40 years.
However, for the past few months, Shah has been suffering from a serious illness, due to which he has been out of the industry.
The event was attended by a large number of Shah’s fans and K-P Culture Minister Mian Iftikhar Hussain.
Hussain appealed to the people to generously donate for Shah’s treatment. The donations can be deposited in A/C No 1365-0 National Bank of Pakistan Civil Secretariat Branch Peshawar.
