Fatal Fall: One killed, three injured in accident

A jeep plunged into a roadside gorge in the bordering hills of Abbottabad.

ABBOTABAD: A passenger was killed, while three others sustained injuries, when a jeep plunged into a roadside gorge in the bordering hills of Abbottabad on Tuesday. Police said that a jeep (No JP 499) was on the way to Akhora from Nambal, that is close to the border of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, when it fell in a ravine. As a result of the accident one passenger, Tanveer Ahmed, died on the spot. Three passengers, who were identified as Fiaz Muhammad, Riasat Abbasi and Muhammad Babar, were seriously injured. The body and three injured were moved to Combined Military Hospital, Muzaffarabad.
