Influential friends: Suspended officers reinstated

SHAHDADPUR: Two officials who were suspended from their posts at a police training institute were reinstated two hours after the order. The DIG of training, Shahab Mazhar, had suspended DSP Abdul Qayum Pathan and Line Officer Aslam Kalhoro for corruption. The police department also sent out a handout about the suspension order in Karachi. However, the punished officials were reinstated because of their connections to influential people. Mazhar himself made the order to reinstate them.
