
Winning the toss, India scored a competitive 162 for three in their quota of overs before Pakistan overcame the target in the 18th over courtesy Mohammad Jameel’s 62.
Jameel was declared the player of the tournament among the partially sighted cricketers taking part in the series, whereas India’s Jai Prakash bagged the award in the partially blind players’ category. Kirtin Patel received the same prize in the completely blind cricketers’ category.
The teams will now face each other in the one-day series that starts on November 22.
Pakistan captain Abdul Razzaq praised the performance of the tourists and was looking forward to the one-day series.
“The Indian team has improved a lot,” Razzaq told The Express Tribune. “The one-day series will be really challenging for us. They have a lot of new players and it can be productive for them.”
