Search and rescue: Girl rescued from illegal prison

NAUSHERO FEROZE: The police rescued a girl who was illegally detained on suspicion of karo kari. According to SP Jawed Jaskani, Nagina eloped with Ahsan but a few villagers caught her and handed her over to an influential man of the area. The police took action when they heard about it and rescued her. Nagina said that the jirga fined Ahsan for Rs400,000 and ordered Ahsan to be handed over to his family.
