An elderly man and his young daughter were crushed to death in a road traffic accident in the limits of the Saddar Faisalabad police station. According to police officials, Mohalla Islampura resident Abdus Sattar and his young daughter Rabia Akhtar were travelling on a motorcycle when another bike crashed into them.
Rabia Akhtar was killed on the spot, while her father Abdus Sattar died in the emergency ward of the District Headquarters Hospital several hours later. The other motorcyclist, Madina Town resident Ashraf was also injured and is in the hospital.
