Union protest: Goldsmith robbed of 50 tolas

A gang of four armed bandits robbed about fifty tolas of gold, cash, mobile phones and other valuables.

KHAIRPUR: A gang of four armed bandits robbed about fifty tolas of gold, cash, mobile phones and other valuables at gunpoint from the jewelry shop of Muhammad Yousuf Pathan in Sarafa Bazaar on Thursday. The Sarafa association shut down their shops and took out a rally in protest of increasing crimes and the poor law and order situation. The SSP of Khairpur, Irfan Baloch, took action and suspended three officers, including head constable Latif Dino, who were posted at Sarafa Bazaar.
