A woman was killed in a hit-and-run road accident in Gorakhpu

RAWALPINDI: A woman was killed in a hit-and-run road accident in Gorakhpur on Tuesday. Muhammad Afzal lodged a report with the Saddar Bairuni police that his aunt, Channu Bibi was crossing the road when a van (LHO-4241), driven by Ittefaq, hit her. She was taken to District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ) where the doctors pronounced her dead. The police registered a case against the driver and started searching for him.
