Atif Aslam to work with Guns N' Roses

Singer Atif Aslam on Wednesday formally announced that he is working on a project with American hard rock band Guns n Roses.

LAHORE: The fusion of Pakistani pop and American rock is on its way as renowned singer Atif Aslam on Wednesday formally announced that he is working on a project with members of American hard rock band Guns N' Roses.

Addressing a press conference at the Lahore Press Club, Atif said the idea behind this collaboration is to promote Pakistani culture in the United States.

Atif said he had always wished to show to the world that Pakistan has talent, especially in the field of music. He said this collaboration is a step towards building a platform where people from both the countries can develop better understanding of each other’s culture.

He added that it would also give a push to other Pakistani singers to promote their music in the US.
