Firing across Karachi, 12 dead
Firing continues in several parts of Karachi as 4 more people were killed raising the death toll from target killings to 12.

Firing continues in several parts of Karachi including Gulistan e Johar, Malir, Surjani Town and Shah Faisal Colony, on Wednesday, as four more people were shot dead in various areas of the city. The death toll from target killing incidents has now risen to 12.
Police recovered two of the dead bodies from the Sohrab Goth area of the city, while the third dead body was recovered from the Old Golimar area. All three bodies were shifted to Abbassi Shaheed Hospital for a post mortem examination.
Another person was also shot dead in the Sarjani Town area of the city.
Yesterday, seven people were shot dead in various areas on the outskirts of the city, in what the police said were mostly politically motivated attacks.
