4 die in Faisalabad as bus plunges into canal

FAISALABAD:

Four people and seven were injured died when a bus fell into a canal near Hasil Pur, Express 24/7 reported on Wednesday.

The bus was en route to Faisalabad from Hasil Pur when it fell into a canal near Head Islam due to over speeding.

All four killed in the incident were female including two children Sumaira and Nadia. The two women have been identified as Safia and Farah.

Rescue workers said all the victims died on the spot and their bodies were pulled out while the injured were shifted to hospital.

Three of the injured are in critical condition while three passengers are still missing.
