Good intentions and hell

Letter November 15, 2011
Fasi Zaka’s assertion that a vote for the PTI is actually a vote for Zardari makes little sense.

ISLAMABAD: Fasi Zaka’s article of November 15 titled “Good intentions and hell” is at best armchair analysis. I have never seen him or others like him ever criticise the PPP, ANP, MQM or even the Q league. The writer’s assertion that a vote for the PTI is actually a vote for Zardari makes little sense and seems to base itself quite heavily on the perception that the establishment and the military are backing Imran Khan and his party.

People such as the writer have, generally speaking, supported drone strikes, the continued war in Afghanistan and the tribal areas, the continued American presence in Afghanistan, and so on.
