Green Mile: Heart attack kills death row inmate

RAWALPINDI: A prisoner sentenced to death died of heart attack in Adiala Jail on Sunday. According to the Sihala police, the deceased, Abdul Ghafoor, 70, a resident of Mughlian village in the outskirts of Sihala, was making preparations for Fajr prayers when he felt pain and was taken to the jail hospital, where he died before any treatment could be provided. The jail administration handed over the body to his family after autopsy at District Headquarter Hospital (DHQ).
