Crime: Husband kills wife

Husband became furious and allegedly shot her in the chest thrice with a 30-bore pistol.

HARIPUR:

A minor dispute between a couple resulted in the death of a woman at the hands of her husband in Dhenda Union Council here on Monday.

The police said that Shabana Bibi, 26, was married to Fida Muhammad. She had come to visit her parents during Eidul Azha with her husband’s permission. However, she overstayed for one day as she was not feeling well. When she returned, Fida started yelling and thrashing her.

When Shabana reminded him that she had taken permission from him to stay at her parents’ house, Fida became furious and allegedly shot her in the chest thrice with a 30-bore pistol.
