Property Fraud: Former MPA granted pre-arrest bail

Former MPA Shehbaz Ahmed is alleged to be involved in the selling of public properties using forged documents.

LAHORE: A judge granted pre-arrest bail to a former MPA accused of defrauding people of their property by forging ownership documents. Judge Chaudhry Nazeer Ahmed set bail at Rs50,000 and set November 21 as the date for the next hearing. Muhammad Mehmood Aslam, the Lahore Development Authority’s then director for estate management, accused Ahmed of forging property documents and selling properties that belonged to other people.
