Murdered: Heirs of slain doctor demand probe

Family of Dr Najia Bhutto held a large protest demonstration at President Camp House.

NAUDERO: The family of Dr Najia Bhutto, who was killed allegedly by her husband, Dr Murtaza, around 20 days ago in Airport Colony, in Karachi, held a large protest demonstration at President Camp House on Sunday morning. Members of Pakistan People’s Party-Shaheed Bhutto, Awami Tehreek, Sindh National Front, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Movement, the Hindu Panchayat and Mazdoor Ittehad also took part in the protest. The protest was led by Naeem Bhutto, the victim’s brother. The protestors demanded that the case be investigated without any political interference.
