Snooker: Shahzad, Toba to play in ranking event

KARACHI: Pakistan number one Imran Shahzad will take on Bilawal Agha in the first round of the Del Monte Fourth Ranking Snooker Cup. The six-day event, featuring the country’s top cueists, starts from November 15 at the Southend Club in Karachi. Shahzad will be looking to defend his title after winning the third ranking championship last month. Meanwhile, number two Asif Toba will play against Muhammad Yousuf in his first match. According to Shahzad and Toba, the tournament will serve as a useful practice event before they leave for the World Snooker Championship due to begin in India on November 27.
