The provincial minister made the statement at the Sharif residence in H-Block, Model Town, where he had gone to meet MPAs, MNAs, ticket holders and party workers from Faisalabad division. The meeting, which was presided over by Nawaz Sharif, had been convened to discuss Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz’s (PML-N) rally in Faisalabad on November 20 successful.
Talking to reporters after the meeting, Sanaullah said that Khan was being used to dent PML-N’s vote bank. “We are neither against Imran Khan nor are we worried by any rallies,” he said. Sanaullah said that Masood Sharif Khattak’s joining Khan’s party “makes it very obvious what kind of game the establishment is playing.”
The law minister also said that the reason the establishment and President Asif Ali Zardari turn a blind eye to whatever the other’s doing is because they have a deal. Sanaullah said that the establishment had allowed Zardari “to loot the country without any fear” and that in exchange, Zardari had chosen to ignore what the establishment was doing, both domestically and internationally.
The PML-N minister said that his party had been the only one to fight the establishment since 1992. “It’s only the PML-N who asked the establishment to clear its stance on the May 2 incident in Abbottabad and attack on the naval base in Karachi,” he said. He added that Nawaz Sharif was the only person who had asked the military, during the All Parties conference in Islamabad, to reveal the secret deal, if any, it had made with the US regarding cooperation in the War on Terror.
During the meeting, Sharif also asked Sanaullah and Abid Sher Ali to make up, said a party member who requested anonymity.
On Friday, the opposition leader in Punjab Assembly, Raja Riaz Ahmad, while speaking at a cheque distribution ceremony in Faisalabad had alleged that government machinery was being used to make arrangements for the rally next week.
Riaz had said that officials of the Revenue Department, patwaris, Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA), the city district government, the town municipal administrations (TMAs), police personnel and other government officers had been asked to ensure that the rally was well attended.
“The Faisalabad rally will be a flop and will only be remembered as a “show of patwaris”, said the PPP leader. He said he was sure that the people of Faisalabad would boycott the “so-called rally”.

I noticed one thing that President Zardari and Gillani don't speak against Imran khan, and Imran khan also don't speak against them. Everyone is corrupt, let them free and wait for GOD caught.
Time has proven that Imran Khan is above becoming a tool of any person or organization. If you wish to use the word 'tool', then yes he he is a tool of the desperate masses who want change, a different Pakistan, a just, honest and viable Pakistan where merit reigns and where human dignity can be felt and seen.
First of all, no journo in Pakistan can translate Rana Sanaullah's statement{Bayan} into English. Its nearly impossible, but still if we agree to an extent that the Journo had done his best in this regard, then its still a jugget. Rana Sab says, he is destroying PML-N's vote bank, wow, like this Vote bank is invented by PML-N. The truth is its the right wing vote bank, and yet establishment and PML{All right wingers indeed} try to play/cash it. So if Right wing will start a fight, the centre left{or simply left} will be benefited. But I have serious concerns on Rana Sab saying PTI a "Tool", may be the writer of the report or Rana Sab had some misunderstanding about this word.
Charisma is a bad thing see: http://hrmarketer.blogspot.com/2008/09/leadership-lessons-from-peter-drucker.html
Mr. Rana is Tool of two Fool, acting cool sweating the pool , but he knows PTI will Rule.
@ A J Khan: Rana Sana Ullah is just a tool. I would say replace the t with an f.
This statement was just not called for.......when god wants to destroy someone, he first makes him mad.
'Sunn to sahee jehaan main hai tera fasana kiya - Kehti hai tujj ko khalq-e-khuda ghaibaana (here it should be 'haziraana' -ARK) kiya'. Rana Sanaullah, just read the blog of this news and you will know what the people think of Nawaz and his noon league. By the way, after imran's public meeting on 30th october, the nnon league is now reduced to 'noon ghunna' league and the people should call it henceforth as such.
Nawaz Sharif was not created by Zia. He was involved in politics since Asghar Khan, pre Zia era. He definitely has been part of Zia's regime, but one must acknowledge that democracy at that time was almost abolished. Bhutto's action against his own people who had elected him had made people lost every hope for democracy. Army was the only pillar of power left. For the sake of saving democracy, Nawaz became part of civil governments under army rule. If he had not come, army might rule for ever in Pakistan like Qaddafi or Asad's dynasties. Nawaz's intention had never been become a puppet of establishment if it were the case, Nawaz Sharif would have always been in government and his governments would not have been abolished without completing terms. People who blame Zia or Nawaz for Islamization in Pakistan perhaps does not know the history or perhaps twist history intentionally. It was Bhutto who is responsible for the radicalization of the society. When people elected him giving heavy mandate, people were thinking that he will take Pakistan to the new heights but instead he had sat in the lap of communism and implement hardcore principles of communism in Pakistan. He nationalized every thing in Pakistan. His decision that "every girl will work alongside boys in the factories wearing same uniform" was the decision which made Ulema come out and start the movement of tehreek-e-nizame Mustafa. It was that tehreek which ousted Bhutto and Zia cam under pressure. If Bhutto had not make such decisions and had not decide to sit in the lap of communism, it may never have happened. Due to pressure from Nizam-e-Mustafa Tehreek, Zia had to use the name of Islam to rule the country.
Just like Zardari destroyed PPP, insha-Allah mafia people like Rana sahib has a great role in destroying PMLN.
Everyone knows that a great majority of PMLN leaders were against them holding oct 28th rally, but eventually Shabaz was trapped by people like Khawaja Asif and Ranna sahib and the nation knows humiliation they brought to themselves.
@Ashraf: What Establishment can offer Imran Khan Maximum??? Prime Ministership??? He has already refused in Musharrafs govt.
PML(N) AND PPP both thinks that whatever happens they will get votes for granted. No my dear Pakistani People are not GOATS AND SHEEPS. They are human being and will vote only with their own will.
Imran Khan is the only hope because is honourable, brave and unsellable person..
Mr Sanaullah conveniently forgets to mention that his own party was a tool of the establishment and infact created by the very same establishment that now sees it fit to support PMLN.
This is also simply crying over spilt milk. The Sharifs have been out maneuvered by first Zardari and now by Imran.
PMLN and their actions are merely now reactions after being shocked and awed by Imrans unprecedented rally and growing popularity.
Rana Sana Ullah is just a tool.
Its 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000% true.
@Ashraf: Both PTI and MQM.
A question to General Kyani: why don't the Pakistani people get to learn about the two people detained coming back from London to karachi via Sri Lanka????
He himself is a big "tool" ~!!!!!! :)
Rana sahab you are a bit late I guess, your party management didn't get it when they had to. There is no question your party tried to strengthen the status quo, no matter people starving, bleeding, looted, left with no choice. So now the people of Pakistan have no option but to try a man who has proven himself on different occassions, and we are sure either he will inshAllah deliver or withdraw, won't be sticking with power while people bleeds like your managemnt. Imran no saint, but he tries atleast what he plans. thats all we need at this point. good luck
People of punjab should vote for Mr Sharif for destroying the future of millions of students, incompetence in dealing with the dengue epidemic, release of Mr Raymond Davis.
I'd rather a tool of "establishment" (whatever does that mean any way?) than a tool.
PML(N) vote bank has already destroyed courtesy of the failures of punjab Govt in all departments.
So true.... But Rana is in pain because pml-n is replaced by pti... in good books of establishment.
The panic in the PML-N camp is understandable , but they should come up with some thing logical even if remotely so. Imran Khan is the hope of millions of Pakistanis ,fed up with the present political lot and who want change, REAL CHANGE .not only the change of faces of already tried, tested and failed leaders/parties but fundamental and revolutionary changes in the political system and way of governance. This change is inevitable ,nobody can stop it ,....INSHALLAH
Mr.Rana We have not forgotten your role in ZIA's era....If Imran was establishment man he would not have been targeting army operations in FATA & Balochistan...Pakistanis are not fool to understand you people your time is over..
Mr. Sanaullah get ready, your plaza going to be demolish :-) :D
Mr Nawaz Sharif is creation of Martial law set up of Zia. Mr Sanaullah should focus on doing his job in Punjab and serving the people rather than becoming Mr Bad mouth.
Let Imran Khan share is agenda and vision and let people decide. Please
And you & Nawaz Sharif are a 'tool' of Zardari... He uses you whenever he feels the 'urge', and pushes you aside when be wants to. Mr. Tool calling other people 'tools', what an irony :p
Rana Sb, Why only PML N's vote bank so weak?
Why blame others???
@Realist: "PML(N) was the first political party who accepted General Musharraf as Chief Executive of Pakistan by signing a deal and migrating to Jeddah."
May I add with 40 suitcases! Who goes into exile with all the lavish belongings?
He has been in politics for over 15 years. Do tell us: did he recently become a tool or has been a tool for 15 years?
Very well said by Rana Sanaullah.
Even if that is the car, establishment is doing something good for the first time. I still support him.
Imran is any thing but tool of any one. Establishment may like him but it can not control him. Mian Nawaz Sharif who is nurtured by Establishment and ruled Punjab or Pakistan for many year without bringing any considerable change in the lives of people.
Rehman Malik = Rana Sanaullah.....I take their statement of equal value....No worries...
Please guys dont take this guy serious...after 30th October jalsa there are so many people having nightmare about the next elections and due to that there are some serious depression and tension on these guys...They will never understand the rise of PTI...as they them self were made by agencies and establishment so the only thing they can think about the popularity of any other party is the way they are doing...They are closing there eyes towards the passion and the waives of revolution brought by youth..good for them..let them swept away by the tsunami and then they will realize...
which estabilishment you talking about now?He is definately scared from the new leader Imran khan? Be realistic and democratic Mr.Sanaullah there will be no fool with the new wave in pakistan now.
Look who is talking. Mr. Sanaullah, do you remember the names of General Jilani and Zia Ul Haq ?
Everyone is not like you Mr. Sanaullah.
Although I completely disagree with Imran's views on militancy but ill always prefer PTI over the Saudi backed PML N which is in a political alliance with banned organizations.
While no saints themselves, the PML-N leadership should at least be given credit for speaking up over the May 2 incident and the Mehran base debacle while other politicians played ball with the establishment.
Sanaullah Sahib, please come up with something more sane and convincing... PML-N is a dead whale anyway, like PPP - these two parties represent the status quo of corruption, plunder of national wealth, governance abyss and economic downfall...
It's too late now!!!
"Covert deal with the establishment"? Sir, What kind of covert deal is it that you are so aware of it? Or you are just fishing? This reminds us of the "Khawaja Sharif murder conspiracy" hatched by your ministry. Bottom line is that you and your chief minister have lost all the credibility, and tells the hollowness of all your accusations.
So he's afraid of the vote bank being "destroyed"!
