Domestic Dispute: Man commits suicide

A man committed suicide in Civil Lines area of Rawalpindi on Thursday, police sources said.
Kamran Mirza, a father of three and a stamp-paper vendor, committed suicide after an argument with his estranged wife. He shot himself at his in-laws’ house in Gulistan Colony.
Mirza had been under stress since his wife, Yasmeen, left him and was living with her parents. On Thursday, Mirza went to his in-laws’ house to reconcile, but his wife refused to go with him. He then pulled out his pistol and shot himself in front of his wife and mother-in-law.
Meanwhile, a house was burgled during Eid holidays in the Airport area. Ali Khan lodged a report with the police that unidentified thieves had entered his house after breaking the padlocks and made away with 80 carats of gold ornaments, cash, a licensed pistol and $5,000.
