Cricket: Women’s cricket ground inaugurated

The development was in accordance with Sharif’s promise to reward the team if they won a gold medal at the Asian Games

LAHORE: The Punjab Women Cricket Academy ground was inaugurated by Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif yesterday. The development was in accordance with Sharif’s promise to reward the team if they won a gold medal at the Asian Games. Several Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) officials along with Intikhab Alam, Zakir Khan, former PCB chairman Khalid Mehmood and President Women Cricket Bushra Aitazaz were also present. The cricket ground has been constructed at a cost of Rs9.5 million.
