Delinquent Behaviour: Two cops suspended

Suspended for negligence in performing their duties and jeopardising the law and order situation in Jaranwala.

FAISALABAD: Two policemen were suspended and a case registered against them on Thursday for negligence in performing their duties and jeopardising the law and order situation in Jaranwala. According to eyewitnesses, Constable Mazhar Ayub and driver Muhammad Siddique of City Jaranwala police started fighting with one another at the cattle market. A large crowd gathered at the scene to stop the fight as the two officials started shooting bullets in the air. The fight stopped later when DSP Jaranwala and SHO Khadim Husain reached the scene. Both officials were immediately suspended and sent to a police lockup.
