LAHORE:

Pakistan Muslim league Nawaz (PML-N) president, Nawaz Sharif, and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) condemned the murder of three Hindu doctors in Shikarpur, Sindh. Sharif, on Thursday, called Manohar Lal, the head of the family whose three members were shot dead, to condole.

According to Sharif’s political secretary, Dr Asif Kirmani, Sharif assured Lal that the party would support the family. PTI issued a press release terming the murders “target killings”. The incident has exposed the government’s false claim that law and order has improved, it stated. PTI strongly believes in equality and will fight for the rights of minorities, read the release. The press release also called for an investigation and added that PTI would hold protests across the country if the government fails to take action.
