KARACHI: The Sindh Rangers have removed officials reportedly found to be working with motorcycle thieves. According to an official statement issued here on Wednesday, the Rangers men have been removed from service and are looking at up to a year in civil jail. The case surfaced after two alleged motorcycle thieves, Nadeem and Bashir, who were arrested from Sohrab Goth, revealed during questioning the involvement of at least seven Rangers men. Anti-Car Lifting Cell chief SSP Javed Akbar Riaz told The Express Tribune that the Rangers told the cell that they would first question the men themselves before handing them over to the police if found guilty.
