Tribune Take: Spot-fixing verdict, a deterrent for some...but not all

Saleem Khaliq, Sports Editor, Daily Express, recently returned from London. He tells us his observations of the players and their attitudes in court.

Khaliq seemed sceptical that the spot-fixing verdict would change the attitude of the corrupt, old guard who may still be in the team, but he expressed hope that new generations of players would be deterred from engaging in such activities.
