Workshop: Delivering solutions rather than discussing problems

Participants in a series of workshop were provided an opportunity to learn and be inspired for taking positive action in the society, said a press statement issued by Youth Engagement Services (YES) Network on Thursday.

Conducted in collaboration with YES Network and British Council Pakistan, the workshop familiarised students with the concept of youth social entrepreneurship and engaged them in developing critical knowledge and skills for inventing new ways of problem solving.

The participants were given various social problems and asked to identify solutions. They felt that it was very easy for them to identify problems in comparison to identify new solutions. They also particularly found it difficult to create in-built revenue generation model for their solutions. The workshop also focused on preparing the participants to share their ideas impressively and assertively.
