Silver Jubilee: Baqai Medical University turning 25

KARACHI: Baqai Medical University will celebrate its silver jubilee, or 25 years of existence, this year, announced Prof. Jamil Ahmed at a press conference on Wednesday. The university began as the Institute of Basic Health Sciences, which gradually affiliated with 28 other institutions as well as several teaching hospitals. The university will also hold its seventh convocation this year, during which 5,345 students will be awarded degrees.
