Theft: Female teachers robbed at gunpoint

While stopping for gas at a CNG station, two men entered the vehicle making off with their jewellery and cellphones.

RAWALPINDI: Three female school teachers were looted late on Tuesday night, Civil Lines Police said. According to the FIR, the complainant stated that she and the two other victims teach at the Liaquat Girls High School in Tench Bhatta. As they were leaving a commissioner’s office, a woman driving a van offered to take them to Tench, the complainant said. While stopping for gas at a CNG station, two men entered the vehicle and held them at gunpoint, taking the van to GT Road and making off with their jewellery and cellphones. The three teachers contacted Executive District Officer Qazi Zahoorul Haq who took them to the office District Coordination Officer who then directed the police to register a criminal case.
