Postings and Transfers: EC secretary gets two-year extension

Election Commission of Pakistan Secretary Ishtiak Ahmad Khan, a BS-22 DMG group officer, has been given a two year extension on contract basis, starting from November 5, 2011. Board of Investment Director General Malik Muhammad Akram Khan, a BS-20 official, has been posted as the Wafaqi Mohtasib Ombudsman’s Secretariat Director General on deputation with immediate effect. He replaces Muhammad Idrees Baig, a BS-20 officer of the devolved Women’s Development Division, who has been repatriated to the Human Rights Division for further posting.
