Crime: Detained on murder charges
The Margalla police arrested a man on Monday on the charge of beheading his friend over a minor dispute, and later dumping the body in a green belt in Sector G-9/1 with the help of accomplices, a police spokesman said.
The police had found a body stuffed in a sack, on October 11. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Rafique, who worked at a hotel in Blue Area and was a resident of Bhandi Wala, Chakothi Tehsil, Hattain Wala District.
The murderer has been identified as Shabbir, who confessed to committing the crime.
