Defying Court Orders: ‘Attach salary’

Petition filed by a man of a case against his wife and two others for tying him up and robbing his house.

LAHORE: An Additional District & Sessions Judge directed the Capital City Police officer (CCPO) to attach the salary of SHO Shalimar for not complying with court orders while ordering the SHO to appear in court on November 1.

The judge passed the order on a petition filed by a man who is seeking registration of a case against his wife two others for tying him up and robbing his house. Muhammad Naeem filed the petition. He submitted that on October 11, two men were let into his house by his wife who said that they were her relatives. The men, who were armed, tied him up and robbed his house, he said. Naeem said he had gone to the police station to register a case but the SHO had turned a deaf ear.
