KARACHI: South Africa has refused to play a bilateral series with Pakistan, according to the Pakistan Blind Cricket Counsel (PBCC). The proposed series consisting of three Twenty20s and three One-Day Internationals was scheduled to take place in Dubai early next year. However, the PBCC plans to go ahead with the series as per schedule and have approached the Australian team to replace South Africa. “The South African team has refused to come to Dubai citing financial issues,” said Pakistan blind cricket team captain Abdul Razzaq. “We are now holding talks with the Australian board and hope to get a positive response from them.”
