Senior Judge of the Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) High Court Justice Munir Hussain Chaudhry took oath on Saturday as acting chief justice of the AJK High Court. AJK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan administered the oath at a simple but impressive ceremony held at the Kashmir House in Islamabad, sources told the media on Saturday. Justice Munir Hussain has been appointed to the office following the recent assassination attempt on Justice Ghulam Mustafa Mughal, chief justice of the AJK High Court who is undergoing treatment at the Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad.
