BAHAWALPUR:
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that the “Go Zardari Go” campaign has been launched across Pakistan and that district and divisional level committees are being set up for it. Talking to the media in Bahawalpur, Sharif said that cell-separator machines, imported from Germany, have been installed in hospitals of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Multan to treat dengue patients. There are very few cases of dengue in Southern Punjab and the serious ones have been shifted to Lahore for further treatment, he added. Ninety-eight per cent of dengue patients were from Lahore but the situation has been brought under control throughout the province, Shahbaz added.
