Police in Swat have arrested a gang that used to carry out robberies in security forces’ attire. Sarbuland Khan, DSP Investigation Swat told newsmen on Saturday that four dacoits wearing forces’ uniforms had barged into the house of Mian Said Ali at midnight in Chuprial area of Matta tehsil and looted cash, gold, cell phones and other valuables at gunpoint. Police registered a case for burglary and a team under DSP Matta Sanobar Khan was constituted to arrest the culprits. The team succeeded in arresting the four-man gang and recovered all the stolen valuables from their possession. The arrested were identified as ring-leader Muhammad Ali, Essa Khan, Raza Khan and Rasool Khan. All of them belonged to Charbagh. Officials also recovered security uniforms that were used to commit robberies.
