KARACHI: Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh chapter spokesman Qadir Khan has been removed from office and Abdul Malik Khan has taken the charge as acting spokesperson for the party. ANP Sindh chief Shahi Syed told The Express Tribune that Qadir Khan was removed for misbehaving with a media representative. “He used abusive language with a journalist (Saleem Safi) and this is not the first time that we have received objections against him in the past. That is why we have taken action against him.” Qadir Khan, meanwhile, said that he came to know about the news through a television channel when he went to Mardan House for duty in the evening. He added that he respected his party elder’s decision and will abide by the code of conduct of the party as a member of ANP Sindh. The acting spokesperson will deal with the media until a new spokesperson is nominated by the ANP Sindh Council Member after the interparty election are completed in a month.
