Revenge: Man slain in dispute between two clans

A member of the Jatoi clan, Rajib, was ambushed and killed by three men in Sangi.

SUKKUR: A member of the Jatoi clan, Rajib, was ambushed and killed by three men in Sangi on Friday. The body of the victim was sent to the taluka hospital in Pano Akil for an autopsy. According to unconfirmed reports, the murder was the result of a dispute between the Mahar and Jatoi clans. Around one month ago, a 17-year old girl from the Jatoi clan was killed in an honour killing involving a member of the Mahar clan. A bitter rivalry has been brewing between the clans since the incident.
