Regulations: Health Care Commission set up

LAHORE:

The Punjab government has set up a Health Care Commission under the Health Care Commission Act 2010, to consider regulations for all hospitals in the province. 

The government has notified the appointments of Justice Amir Raza Khan, Dr Amjad Saquib, Arif Saeed, Munir Ahmed Qureshi alias Munnoo Bhai, Dr Naeemuddin Mian and Viqar A Khan, according to a Directorate General of Public Relations statement. The board in its first meeting elected Justice Raza Khan unopposed as chairman. It will meet again next week.
