Police said two attackers on a motorbike opened fire on a general store which caused one person to die on the spot while two others sustained injuries.
The injured were taken to the Civil Hospital Quetta where one of them succumbed to injuries.
Police have started investigations, meanwhile, a shutter-down strike was observed in Quetta and other major cities of Balochistan on the third day of the killing of BNP leader Habib Jalib Baloch.
