‘Honour’ Killings: Uncle, cousins kill woman, her daughters

Shot by their uncles and cousins over suspicion of Arshad’s daughter having had an affair.

GUJRANWALA: A woman and her two young daughters were shot and killed by their family early on Friday morning.  According to Baghbanpura police, Gulshan colony resident Arshad, went to purchase sacrificial animals from Arifwala and Ikram and Lala came and shot his wife and daughters.

Arshad’s wife Sughran and his two daughters Shahzadi and Saima were shot by their uncles and cousins over suspicion of Arshad’s daughter having had an affair. SSP (Operation) Ahmed Virk has registered a case and launched an investigation. The bodies of the victims have been sent to the DHQ Hospital for an autopsy.
