Indian occupation: Kashmiris observe black day

The day is observed by the Kashmiris every year to protest the continued “occupation” of J&K by Indian forces.

MIRPUR: Kashmiris residing on either side of the Line of Control (LoC) observed Black Day on Thursday, to protest against the Indian invasion of Jammu & Kashmir this day in 1947. The day is observed by the Kashmiris every year to protest the continued “occupation” of the bulk of Jammu & Kashmir by Indian forces. Indian troops arrived in Srinagar this day, 64 years ago, in 1947. In AJK, huge protest rallies and public congregations, in all small and major towns and cities, including Muzaffarabad, Mirpur, Kotli, Bhimbher, Rawalakot, Bagh, Sudhanoti, Neelam Valley, were held.
