Court Commute: Shuttle service for lawyers launched

A shuttle service that will help lawyers commute from one court to another was inaugurated on Thursday.

LAHORE: A shuttle service that will help lawyers commute from one court to another was inaugurated on Thursday. The Inter court Lawyer Shuttle Service has a capacity of eight and will operate between Sessions Court, Civil Courts, District Courts and Lahore High Court. The service is funded by the Lahore Bar Association and a ride will cost Rs10. District & Sessions Judge Mujahid Mustaqim Ahmed inaugurated the service at Aiwan-i-Adl. Speaking on the occasion, Ahmed said that the shuttle was a great initiative because it would help lawyers getting from one court to another, which will help in providing justice to the litigants. He said that similar projects needed to be launched in other cities.
