Clarification: New CEO at Bank Alfalah

KARACHI: In a news item published on October 26, it was mentioned that Atif Aslam Bajwa who has just joined Bank Alfalah as the new CEO also served a seven month stint as CEO at Soneri Bank before being ‘replaced’. This inadvertently creates the impression that Atif Bajwa was asked to leave. In fact, Bajwa tendered his resignation at Soneri Bank in March to later join the Abu Dhabi Group. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
