Air Services: Pak, Latvia agree on 10 weekly flights

Pakistan and the Republic of Latvia on Thursday initiated Air Services Agreement (ASA) talks between the two countries

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan and the Republic of Latvia on Thursday initiated Air Services Agreement (ASA) talks between the two countries, besides also signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). According to the MoU, a total of 10 weekly flights were granted to each side on the basis of reciprocity. The Pakistani delegation was led by Major General Raja Muhammad Arif Nazir, Additional Secretary-I, Ministry of Defence while the Latvian delegation was headed by Arnis Muiznieks, Director, Air Transport Department, Ministry of Transport, Latvia, said a press release. Both sides discussed issues of mutual interest in the field of Civil Aviation.
